Social Services for Priority Populations

Our social workers provide case management and support to families referred by the Department of Children & Family Services (DCF). While the child is enrolled in our child care, the family will work with an Empower social worker to identify strengths and areas of need and prepare for future planning. Assistance includes community resources and referrals, child development education and emotional support. Empower staff understand family dynamics and the challenges families face and offer support that makes a difference.

Young Parent Program

Our Young Parent Program, formerly Teens with Tots, provides child care and support services for young parents and their children enrolled in our child care programs. Parents must be younger than 24 years old or turn 24 at any time during their pregnancy to qualify. If parents continue to meet EEC income and activity requirements, ongoing financial assistance is available after age 24.

Transportation

Transportation services are provided to eligible families receiving child care financial assistance according to our contract specifications. With our team of dedicated, background-checked drivers, we ensure children get safely from home to care with a smile.
